Balthasar Bickel joined a team of other language documentation experts to explore phonetic regularities in typologically diverse corpus data. The team has now published a new study on utterance-final word lengthening in Linguistics Vanguard, as a follow-up to their earlier work on articulation speed that appeared in PNAS.
