03.09.2023Department is awarded UZH Global Strategy grant with Hebrew University of Jerusalem

Three-year (2023-2026) joint international and interdisciplinary project «Event packaging in language» under the UZH Global Strategy and Partnerships Funding Scheme with the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

The project targets the linguistic structures involved in the packaging and encoding of events, using typological and corpus data, and aims to provide insights into the cognitive and cultural mechanisms that shape event conceptualization by collaborating with a team of computational and cognitive neuroscientists.
