Evolutionary Neuroscience of Language Group
I am a PhD candidate in the Human Evolutionary Ecology Group at the University of Zurich’s Department of Evolutionary Anthropology. My research is conducted within the NCCR Evolving Language framework in close collaboration with the Evolutionary Neuroscience of Language Group.
I hold a bachelor’s degree in Neural Science from New York University Shanghai and a master’s in Medical Neurosciences from the Charité University Hospital Berlin.
My doctoral project investigates the evolution of language and tool-making in early hominins. Using neuroarchaeological methods and comparative behavioural studies, I explore the procedural dynamics underlying tool-making and their implications for language evolution and the neural mechanisms of Theory of Mind.
